Reality Check
Yesterday we were given a letter warning us that there would be another lay off at work today. We were told in the middle of April, after the first lay off, that we would not do it again. So you hope that it will not. This cut was deeper than the first. Many friends are gone. So that leaves me with one question When will it all end? It is never fun to come crashing into reality. I have been accused of looking at the world through rose colored glasses, but I know one thing. With the grace of God and the love and support of my family I can and will survive anything.

Mother's Day
This is Mothers Day weekend and it always make me sad. This will be my 3rd Mothers Day without my Mom. She always like this day. She would make sure that she took care of her Mom and my Dads Mom but sadly they are all 3 gone now. She would be happy on this weekend because the baseball team that my middle son plays on is going to the state tournament and my oldest made the deans list at college again this semester and even my youngest son has made great strides to improve his grades. But if she were here she would tell me to quit feeling sorry for myself and take a look at what I have and be happy. So that is what I am doing. I have to many blessings to list them all but I am so glad that the good Lord above (and Mom too) are looking out for me and have given a husband and 3 great boys who make sure I have all the love I need. So Happy Mothers Day and May God Bless You!!

Family Vacation
I just spent 4 days with my husband, his husbands 4 sisters their husbands and his Mom and Dad in Las Vegas. It was the best experience I could have hoped for. Ma and Pa will be celebrating their 50th Wedding in November and they wanted to go on a vacation with just the kids and spouses. So here we are at the famous Las Vegas sign. It was a good time for all. The most amazing part is that we all are still speaking to each other.
